Billionaire Elon Musk has denied a Reuters report that the United States allegedly threatened Ukraine with disconnecting Starlink. According to him, this is a lie.

"This is false. Reuters is lying. They are second only to AP (Associated Propaganda) as legacy news liars," the billionaire wrote, referring to the Associated Press, which is suing the Trump administration after being denied accreditation because the publication does not call the Gulf of Mexico the American Gulf.

His post was a response to another article in X, which stated that, according to Reuters, the United States was allegedly threatening to cut off Starlink to Ukraine if Kyiv did not sign a minerals deal. The article claimed that the United States raised the issue for the first time after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy rejected the agreement presented on February 12.

Poland also reacted to the information about the alleged disconnection. In particular, Polish Minister of Digitalization Krzysztof Gawkowski said that it was Poland that purchased Starlink for Ukraine, that their country pays for satellite Internet, and that they had concluded the agreement.
