There is no alternative to Ukraine winning this war - Danish PM

There is no alternative to Ukraine's victory in the war with Russia. If Russia wins, it will not only be a loss for Ukraine, but a defeat for the West, states Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen during the Globsec Forum conference.
She emphasized that Ukraine must win the war. In her opinion, this is an “inevitable development”.
“There is no alternative to Ukraine winning this war. Because if Russia wins, then all of us lose. Not only in Europe but, actually, worldwide,” the Prime Minister said.
Frederiksen said that Europe has formed an almost unanimous opinion on supporting Ukraine.
“We have, sometimes, some internal discussions... But it is 26 against one,” the Danish Prime Minister emphasized.
Danish assistance to Ukraine
Denmark has been supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops.
The country has provided Ukraine with financial and humanitarian aid, supported EU sanctions against Russia and Belarus, and has been providing military assistance to the Ukrainian army. Together with the Netherlands, Denmark led an aviation coalition to provide F-16 fighter jets.
At the Globsec Forum conference, Mette Frederiksen emphasized that Danish F-16s are “already working” in Ukraine. Denmark also allowed Ukraine to use the provided weapons to strike Russia.
