There could have been 2 planes. Ukrainian intelligence reveals new details of attack on Su-57 in Russia
On the morning of June 9, it became known that a Su-57 was shot down at an airfield in Russia. Now there is information that there could have been two downed Su-57s, states the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine representative Andrii Yusov.
"There is data that continues to be clarified. There is preliminary information that there could have been two downed Su-57 aircraft. There is also information about irrecoverable losses and wounded among the occupiers' personnel,” said the DIU representative.
Yusov explained that the DIU only states the fact of the defeat, but does not comment on the means of destruction, nor on whose operation it was.
He emphasized that the information is still being clarified, but this is very good news for Ukraine. This is the first combat defeat of this “ultra-modern” aircraft.
Yusov also noted that incidents at airports used by the enemy in the war against Ukraine will continue.
Attack on Su-57 in Russia
Today, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported that a Su-57 aircraft was shot down in Russia at the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan region. The damage was confirmed by satellite images. However, who and what hit the Russian plane was not disclosed.
