The work continues daily: Matiukha spoke about Favbet Foundation’s largest projects

The Favbet Foundation charitable organization was established in 2020 at the initiative of Andriy Matiukha, founder of the Favbet group of companies. From the very beginning, the foundation has focused on supporting youth by developing educational and sports infrastructure, was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Styler project), citing the foundation’s press service.
Among the first initiatives implemented were the installation of outdoor sports grounds, digitalization projects for libraries, and support for family-type orphanages.
The foundation continues to implement educational and sports projects. As Andriy Matiukha noted, in 2023, the "Superhero Club" initiative was launched, which combines several areas: basic IT courses, sports activities, and providing school supplies for children.
As part of the IT Kids educational program, more than 350 children from military and internally displaced families have been able to study the basics of Python programming free of charge. The training is conducted online, making it accessible to participants across the country.
Another initiative is the “Power in Knowledge” project, which involves distributing stationery kits to children in need of support. In total, the foundation has delivered 5,500 kits, personally handed out by volunteers to families in various regions, encouraging children to continue their education despite difficult circumstances.
Since 2021, the Favbet Foundation has also supported family-type orphanages by providing equipment and essential resources. In Croatia, a center was opened for the adaptation and education of children from Ukrainian refugee families.
Favbet Foundation also invests in children's health and psychological resilience by supporting their access to sports. The “Stronger Together” initiative funds free sports classes—mainly in football and basketball—for children of internally displaced persons and military personnel. Every week, dozens of participants train under the guidance of experienced coaches at sports centers in Kyiv.
“Sports not only promote physical development but also help children adapt to new circumstances and cope with stress. Even in these times, our children should have the opportunity to look to the future with confidence,” said Matiukha.
In 2025, the foundation, in partnership with the FAST organization, launched the first national project for first aid training among Ukrainian athletes. During the first two months, 212 representatives from 7 Olympic sports completed intensive training sessions, and by the end of the year, the program aims to reach over 1,600 more members of the sports community across Ukraine.
Favbet Foundation also provides systematic support to medical institutions, especially those caring for children or victims of war. In 2023, the foundation donated an ultrasound system worth over 4 million UAH to Kyiv’s Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital. In 2024, a new set of medical equipment was delivered, including fluid warmers and laboratory microshakers. This equipment is already being actively used in the treatment of infusion solutions and for caring for children in critical conditions.
The foundation also supports the Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery and funds medical rehabilitation programs for wounded soldiers. In 2024, in collaboration with the patronage service of the Special Operations Forces "Krevni" (Blood Ties), the foundation launched the “Restart” program, which helps military personnel recover from injuries and return to active life with the help of advanced technologies.
“In five years of operation, the foundation has become one of the flagships of Ukrainian philanthropy. Even in the most challenging times, Favbet Foundation remains a pillar of support for thousands of people and an investment in Ukraine’s future — strong, healthy, and educated. That’s why our work continues every single day,” says the foundation’s founder, Andriy Matiukha.
