The Voice Season 24 culminates with Huntley as the champion

In the Season 24 finale, five contestants — Team Reba's Jacquie Roar and Ruby Leigh, Team Niall's Mara Justine and Huntley, and Team Legend's Lila Forde — competed in two parts.

The first night featured two performances by each contestant, with songs ranging from Boston's "More Than a Feeling" to The Beatles' "Across the Universe." The second night included duets with their coaches and group performances.

Huntley emerged as the winner, with Ruby Leigh as the runner-up and Mara Justine in third place.

Season 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood returned for a performance, along with other guest artists.

Huntley's triumph

In the show's finale, Huntley's performance of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" with Horan was a highlight, leading to his victory over competitors from Team Niall, Team Reba, and Team Legend.

His emotional win was celebrated with tears and a hug from runner-up Ruby Leigh, followed by a joyful embrace from his coach, Horan. Throughout the season, Huntley impressed the coaches and audience with his powerful and controlled singing style, receiving high praise from the coaches for his natural talent and unique voice.

Huntley's journey on "The Voice" began with a remarkable four-chair turn audition, performing "She Talks to Angels," instantly capturing the coaches' attention. His distinctive singing style, likened to artists like Daniel Merriweather and Chris Stapleton by coach Horan, set him apart.

Huntley's decision to join Team Niall was influenced by his daughter Stella, who helped him choose his coach during the auditions. His time on the show has been marked by widespread support and appreciation, culminating in the release of his debut single "Holdin On" in 2022.
