Paul McCartney is a vegetarian. Diet is the key to health
Paul became a vegetarian in the 1970s, together with his late wife Linda. In 1991, Linda launched her own vegetarian food brand, which could be prepared at home in the UK.
In 2009, Paul, Linda, and their daughter Stella launched the "Meat-Free Monday" campaign, and two years later, they published a book with the same name, which contained menus for 52 weeks of the year.
"It was a joint decision, and we never looked back. It was wonderful, and we became part of the vegetarian revolution," recalls the artist.
Various studies have shown that a vegetarian diet has many health benefits. One study found that vegetarians had a 22% lower risk of cardiovascular diseases compared to meat-eaters.

Why doesn’t Paul McCartney wear glasses? The secret is eye yoga
You may wonder how it’s possible that Paul McCartney doesn't wear glasses despite being 80 years old. The musician owes his eagle vision to eye yoga, which he has practiced since the late 1990s.
He learned this technique during a trip to India. The eye yoga exercises include "palming," where warm palms are placed on the eyelids for about 10 seconds.
You can even try blinking very quickly for 10-15 seconds or "zooming" – focus on a distant object, then switch to a closer one, moving back and forth.
How music affects health
Paul McCartney has been obsessed with music since his teenage years. This may have positively impacted his health. Music is mentioned as one of the ways to ease symptoms in people living with dementia.
It has been proven that for some people with dementia, music therapy improves their thinking, feelings, perception, mood, and behavior.
A meta-analysis of studies published in 2021 found a 59% reduction in the risk of dementia among musicians (although the authors of the study stated that larger studies are needed).
