Tesla Diner debuts in California with superchargers and drive-in cinema

Good news for electric vehicle drivers and innovation enthusiasts — Tesla has made another breakthrough by officially opening its first-ever restaurant and drive-in cinema. This is not just a charging station, but a true retro-futuristic complex that reimagines the traditional roadside pit stop.
What is this restaurant, where is it located, and what are its unique features? Tesla shared the details.
80 charging stations and mega screens
The new restaurant, named Tesla Diner, is located along the iconic Route 66.
The site features 80 V4 Supercharger stalls, making it the largest urban Supercharger station in the world, capable of fast and efficient charging for dozens of electric vehicles simultaneously.
The restaurant also includes two massive 20-meter LED mega screens that transform the charging area into a true drive-in cinema, offering entertainment while customers wait.
Special solar canopies provide shade over the charging area and contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 12 million kilograms annually, highlighting Tesla’s commitment to sustainability.
