The culinary resource Shuba tells how to cook casserole with peaches.
What you need for peach casserole
To prepare this light breakfast, you need the following ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 500 g;
- canned peaches - 200 g;
- eggs - 2 pcs;
- flour - 40 g;
- sour cream -100 ml;
- butter - 10 g;
- baking soda - 0.5 tsp.
How to cook peach casserole
For the casserole, you can use both canned and fresh peaches, but in the latter case, they will not be as soft in the finished dish.
Transfer the cheese to a bowl, add the eggs, sour cream, and baking soda. Blend everything until smooth. Add the flour and mix the mixture gently.
Remove the peaches from the can, wait for the excess syrup to drain, or carefully pat the fruits dry with paper towels.
Next, cut the peaches into small pieces. Grease a baking dish with butter and line the bottom with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Spread half of the cheese mixture into the dish. On top, evenly distribute the peaches, keeping them away from the edges. Pour the remaining cheese mixture over the peaches.
Bake for 40-45 minutes. If the casserole browns too quickly, cover the dish with foil.
After baking, allow the casserole to cool in the oven with the door open for about an hour. Do not cut the hot dish immediately - it may fall.
