Over the past day, January 25, Ukrainian troops destroyed 161 enemy UAVs in the Tavria direction. Meanwhile, the Russians intensified offensive and assault operations, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.

During the day, the enemy:

  • carried out 10 air strikes;
  • 4 missile attacks;
  • conducted 50 combat engagements;
  • made 624 artillery attacks.

"Russian occupants have increased the number of offensive and assault actions," writes the commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.

Avdiivka direction

Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 6 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka and another 10 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

Maryinka direction

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 25 attacks were repelled.

Shakhtarsk direction

Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 attacks southeast of Vodiane, Zolota Nyva, and west of Staromaiorsk in the Donetsk region.

Zaporizhzhia direction

The military repelled 3 enemy attacks southeast of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

Achievements of Ukrainian soldiers

Enemy losses amounted to 480 Russians. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 23 units of Russian military equipment, namely:

  • 2 tanks;
  • 7 armored personnel carriers;
  • 6 artillery systems;
  • 5 vehicles;
  • 3 units of special equipment.

"Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed two enemy ammunition depots. 161 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed," the press service adds.

Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, January 25, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 900 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 380,600 troops.
