Tavria front update: Equipment and hundreds of Russians destroyed

Ukrainian troops eliminated over 400 Russian occupants in the Tavria direction over the last day. The Armed Forces also destroyed 34 units of enemy military equipment, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.
In total, the Russians carried out 15 air strikes in the Tavria direction, conducted 72 combat engagements, and fired 610 artillery rounds.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational Strategic Group of troops in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
The defense forces successfully repelled 49 enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, south of Severne, and Tonenke, Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 18 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled all enemy attacks in the area southeast of Vuhledar, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near Robotyno in the Zaporizhzhia region.
At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
Enemy losses
The total losses of the Russian army amounted to 457 people.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 34 pieces of military equipment, including:
- 11 tanks
- 17 armored personnel carriers;
- 2 ATGMS.
One ammunition depot was also destroyed. Another 15 units of enemy equipment were damaged.
The situation at the front
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled 49 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction, held their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, and destroyed an enemy ammunition depot.
In particular, according to a report by the Institute for the Study of War, Ukrainian forces are holding positions on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River. According to preliminary information, the Ukrainian Armed Forces already control the entire Velykyi Potemkin Island (southwest of Kherson).
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Monday morning, December 11, amounted to 1,030 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 339,850. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 19 tanks, 18 UAVs, and 31 armored personnel carriers.
