Russians continue to attempt offensives on the front line, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In particular, today, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported on the situation in Kurakhove and Pokrovsk.

“Of course, today there was a report by Chief Commander Syrsky. It was about the situation at the front and in the areas of the Kursk operation. The situation is difficult in the Pokrovske direction and in Kurakhove. I am grateful to all the units that are destroying the occupier there,” the head of state said.

Zelenskyy also expressed special gratitude to the Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk sector. He explained that strength is needed to achieve the right results for Ukraine and Ukrainians in diplomacy.

“Everyone who is now fighting for Ukraine is really fighting for Ukraine's future. We need a reliable peace. Guaranteed peace. We will definitely realize our goals,” the president summarized.

Fighting for Kurakhove

This evening the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine separately published operational information on the situation in the area of Kurakhove.

In particular, it was reported that 10 battles took place there today and that this area is one of the hottest on the entire front of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Thus, the enemy, in an effort to capture Kurakhove at any cost, is conducting active assault operations on the southeastern outskirts of the city. In addition, the enemy is trying to capture a road junction and an apartment block in the southern part of the city.
