Syrskyi marching on Red Square in Moscow - Russia spreads fake video
A video is circulating on the internet purportedly showing Oleksandr Syrskyi marching on Red Square in Moscow at some military parade. Propagandists have taken up spreading these shots, which are another fake from Russia, according to the observations of a user with the nickname Lara-Lara on social network X.
What the fake is based on
The fake is based on that Syrskyi was born in Russia and studied at the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School.
Propagandists believe he could have participated in the parade on Red Square in 1986.

Why Syrskyi couldn't have marched on Red Square
Users who commented on Lara-Lara's post agree that "Syrskyi's march on Red Square" is fake.
Some note that the young man in the propagandists' footage does not resemble Syrskyi.
Others explain that "boys with a height of over 1.8 meters were selected for the parade boxes" (while the height of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is about 1.7 meters).
Finally, some point out that at that time, "half of the male population served in the army."
