'Such violence has no justification' - Zelenskyy reacted to assassination attempt on Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump on his X account.
"I am appalled to learn about the shooting of former US President Donald Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania. Such violence has no justification and no place anywhere in the world. Never should violence prevail," he wrote.
Zelenskyy expressed relief that Donald Trump is now safe and wished him a speedy recovery.
"My condolences go out to the close ones of this attack’s victim, a rally attendee. I extend my wishes for strength to everyone who is horrified by this event. I wish America emerges stronger from this," he noted.
Assassination attempt on Trump
An assassination attempt was made on former US President Donald Trump. The incident occurred during a rally in Pennsylvania.
The shooter was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks. He fired from a roof approximately 120 meters from the stage where Trump was speaking.
It is currently known that Trump sustained a minor gunshot wound. One spectator was killed. The attacker was shot dead.
