Eva Mendes: Tastings and hot dogs

As a teenager, the actress worked at the Glendale Galleria mall, handing out samples at Ciao and working at Hot Dog on a Stick.

There she had to squeeze lemons for drinks manually, stand behind the cash register, and fry sausages.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Mendes admitted that she even bribed a colleague to avoid making pizza.

The future Hollywood sex symbol's first job involved… a chicken.

Brad Pitt, who was just starting his acting career, worked at the fast-food chain El Pollo Loco, which originated in Mexico and later expanded to the US

At the opening of the Los Angeles location, he stood on the corner of Sunset and La Brea in a bird costume, attracting customers.

Later, Pitt said in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that he is not ashamed of this job, although the crowds sometimes drove him crazy.

Madonna: Employee at Dunkin

In the early 1980s, the future "queen of pop" worked at a Dunkin Donuts in New York.

Madonna lasted only a week. She was openly bored, played with the coffee machine, and once even sprayed jam at a customer.

Eventually, she was fired, and the singer quickly realized that being a barista was not for her.

Pink: Working at McDonald's

The future global star started at McDonald's. According to her, her family made her earn her own money.

The Desperate Housewives actress, at 15, forged documents to get a job at Wendy's.

There she learned to make cheeseburgers "her own way": with mayonnaise on the bun, ketchup, mustard, and jalapeños.

Longoria still recalls the experience as a life lesson and mentions it at political events.

Gwen Stefani: Ice cream at Dairy Queen

In California, the future No Doubt frontwoman worked at Dairy Queen, serving ice cream and fast food.

It was there she met the future members of the band with which she topped the charts in the 1990s with the hit "Just a Girl."

Stefani admitted she constantly indulged in desserts and even gained a few extra pounds, so she had to leave the job and work as a makeup artist.

Jeff Bezos: Cashier at McDonald's

The Amazon founder and one of the richest people in the world also had a modest start.

As a teenager, Bezos worked at McDonald's, where, he said, in the first week, he had to clean up a flood of ketchup from a broken dispenser.

It was there that his discipline and work ethic were formed, which later helped him build the Amazon empire.
