SpaceX carried out its first launch in August: video of the process
SpaceX, the company owned by billionaire Elon Musk, conducted its first launch in August. It sent the Galaxy 37/Horizons-4 communication satellite into space for Intelsat, according to SpaceX's Twitter account.

The launch took place in Florida at Cape Canaveral.

As noted by Teslarati, the Galaxy 37/Horizons-4 satellite was initially planned to be launched on the Ariane 6 rocket, but due to regular production delays, the client turned to SpaceX for assistance.

According to the company's data, the satellite carries two payloads, providing expanded capacity for North American television media clients.
That marked Elon Musk's first launch in August. SpaceX is preparing to conduct at least eight launches this month.
