When baby animals are abandoned by their mother, it always poses a serious threat to their survival. Fortunately, the tiger cubs from Feldman Ecopark were saved by a kind-hearted dog. Oleksandr Feldman shares a touching story about orphaned tiger cubs and the dog who became their substitute mother.

At Feldman Ecopark near Kharkiv, a tigress unexpectedly rejected her newborn cubs for unknown reasons. But they were saved by a dog! Oleksandr Feldman, the founder of the ecopark, shared this story on Facebook.

"A real miracle happened to us! The mother of these wonderful white tiger cubs, as unfortunately sometimes happens, abandoned them. But they found a foster mother! A very kind dog accepted them as her own: she feeds them, cares for them, plays with them, and protects them from the slightest danger. We suckle, we lick, we play. And we don't let anyone hurt them," he wrote and added a video.

In addition, Feldman mentioned in his post about plans to make a full-length film about how the cubs grow, play, and build a bond with their new mom.

As of May 2025, Feldman Ecopark near Kharkiv continues its recovery after significant destruction caused by Russian shelling. The park suffered 80% damage, more than 300 animals died, and part of the territory is still under demining.

Today, there are about 1000 animals in the ecopark, five times fewer than before the full-scale invasion. Some areas are already open to visitors, including the "Valley of Alpacas," which operates on a 3-hectare site. The park continues its traditional activities, such as the spring release of birds into the wild.
