During the night of October 31, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with strike drones launched from six directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones, but some hit their targets, according to a report by the Ukrainian Air Force.
This night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 134 strike drones, including Shahed-type UAVs (72 of them jet-powered), Gerbera drones, and Parodiya decoy drones launched from the following directions: Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo in Russia, the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region, and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 am Kyiv time, air defense forces had shot down or suppressed 105 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (49 of them jet-powered), Gerbera drones, and drones of other types.
Hits by enemy aerial weapons were recorded at 20 locations, while debris from downed drones fell at 10 locations.
On the evening of October 30, Russian drones struck one of Kyiv's critical infrastructure facilities three times. A power outage caused water pressure in the capital's supply system to drop, leaving some districts without water.
