Today, February 15, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy listened to the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov regarding the situation at the front, according to the evening address of Ukrainian head of state.
"Report to Chief of Staff Syrskyi and Minister of Defense Umerov. The situation at the front. Avdiyivka, the East in general," Zelenskyy noted.
According to him, the country's leadership is now doing its best to ensure that Ukrainian soldiers have enough managerial and technological capabilities to save as many lives as possible.
Visit of Syrskyi and Umerov to frontline
A few days ago the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov went to the front.
They visited all hot spots and reported the situation to the head of state.
Syrskyi and Umerov had to solve the existing problems, namely the completion of units, strengthening, and management.
The most critical situation is currently around Avdiivka. The White House assumes that Russia may occupy the city due to the lack of artillery shells among the Ukrainian defenders.
