Simple test that detects heart disease at early stage

It is possible to detect problems with the cardiovascular system at the initial stages with the help of a test, which will require a simple analysis, reports Daily Express.
How to identify heart problems
The cardiovascular system includes diseases such as coronary heart disease, heart failure, and strokes. Patients may notice symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, fatigue, palpitations, and wheezing.
Cardiologist Sanjay Gupta spoke about a test that can tell you a lot about your future risk of heart disease.
He warned that many conventional tests can only detect problems after the disease has already done damage.
The test is called microalbuminuria, which measures the amount of a protein called albumin that is present in the urine and is a way to determine if your kidneys are functioning well.
This test can be used to evaluate kidney function in the presence of glomerulonephritis, diabetes, or heart failure.
Most cardiovascular diseases are caused by harmful processes in the blood vessels. Any harmful process that occurs in the body is likely to affect the smallest blood vessels first.
If this process is left unchecked, the damage will spread to larger blood vessels.
"Our kidneys also contain a very dense population of tiny blood vessels. If they start to get damaged, different substances will start to leak out of the kidneys that would not leak out if they were completely healthy. One of the substances that leaks out when the kidneys are not working is protein or albumin," the doctor added.
Albumin worrying levels
If the albumin level ranges from 30 to 300 milligrams, it is considered microalbuminuria. A study was conducted that showed that there is a significant association between microalbuminuria and cardiac dysfunction.
Microalbuminuria may precede the onset of hypertension and diabetes and may independently predict the risk of cardiovascular disease.
