Researchers from Australia have identified a product that significantly enhances male fertility. Regular consumption improves sperm motility and quality.

What is this product, and how often should men eat it, according to the article in the scientific journal Advances in Nutrition.

Scientists from Monash University in Australia conducted an analysis of four studies, including observational and randomized controlled trials. Over 600 healthy men aged 18 to 35, following a typical Western diet, participated in these studies.

In one trial, men consumed 75 grams of walnuts daily for 12 weeks, while in another, they consumed 60 grams daily of a mixture of walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts for 14 weeks.

The results of the trials showed that regular walnut consumption improves sperm motility and quality.

Dr. Barbara Cordero, one of the authors of the study from Monash University, emphasized that participants continued to eat their usual diets, making the study's findings even more significant.

She also highlighted the importance of consuming raw or roasted nuts and recommended avoiding salty and sweetened varieties.

Another co-author of the study, Nicole Keller, debunked the myth that nuts contribute to weight gain. She noted that regular consumption of one or two handfuls of nuts per day is associated with weight loss.

Researchers emphasize that the benefits of nuts for male reproductive health are linked to their rich content of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, and polyphenols. These components together contribute to the improvement of reproductive functions.
