Shopping mall in Dnipro before and after Russian missile attack
On the night of December 29, Russia launched a missile attack on a shopping mall in Dnipro. A significant part of the building was completely destroyed.

The damaged shopping mall was quite famous among the locals. Inside, there were many stores selling clothing, electronics, household goods, grocery stores, entertainment venues, dining establishments, and more.

Dnipro residents on social media write about how they were shopping for New Year's just there yesterday.
"Woke up, washed up, smoked, made coffee, turned on the lights on the Christmas tree, sat down at the computer. The Russians hit the Apollo shopping center not far from my house. I hope the guy I bought my Christmas tree from next to the mall yesterday didn't die. He was just starting his night shift. Turned off the Christmas lights," writes a user with the nickname "gansik" on X.

As a result of the missile attack, a significant part of the shopping mall was destroyed. Eyewitnesses at the scene share footage of the destruction, fire, and thick smoke.

As of 10:30 AM on December 29, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration reported 5 deaths and over 20 injuries.
Rescue services continue the search operation, as there may still be people under the rubble.
Besides, Russian occupiers destroyed a maternity hospital in Dnipro, damaged a private house, and a six-story building.
