Russian Federation military shelled the civilian infrastructure of the Sumy region, as a result of the enemy attack, a local woman was killed, according to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, today at around 12:50, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy, according to preliminary data, shelled the civilian infrastructure of Krasnopillia in the Sumy region with self-propelled artillery units.

One projectile from the occupiers hit a private residence, resulting in the death of a 69-year-old homeowner. Additionally, three private houses and two vehicles were damaged.

From the early days of the full-scale invasion, Russian occupiers have been attacking the border territories of the Sumy region. In the communities located near the border, there have been reports of increased activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

Yesterday, we also reported that Russians shelled the border areas of the Sumy region, resulting in injuries to a local resident.

Previously, invaders also shelled the city of Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region with mortars. As a result of the attack, a 48-year-old man, who was on the territory of his own property, was killed.
