September sees record-breaking attacks as Russia deploys reserves across front: DeepState
Russia is actively deploying reserves across all fronts. September 19 has set a record for the number of attacks in a single day, according to an analysis by DeepState analysts.
"After the Kursk operation, the enemy began actively deploying reserves in areas where "it seems the war will stop tomorrow" and they need to seize as much as possible. This could not continue indefinitely and, as a result, a rotation occurred in certain sectors and a regrouping of main forces took place from September 10 to 13," analysts say.
According to their observations, this created the conditions for a new escalation of efforts that is currently underway.
"September 19 set a record for the number of attacks in a single day recently, with a total of 226," DeepState reports.
Analysts also provided statistics on the average daily number of attacks from May to September, indicating an increase in enemy activity. Specifically:
- May: 122
- June: 125
- July: 143
- August: 145
- September (for the first 19 days): 170
In comparison to May, DeepState notes an average increase of 50 attacks per day.
"The overall nature of the attacks has gradually changed, but each such attack results in losses. Unfortunately, the enemy still possesses resilience, and exhaustion, which was generally expected in September, is not yet visible," the analysts concluded.
Situation on the front
In the last 24 hours, on September 20, Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions remain the most active. Fighting is also ongoing in the Kursk region, where Russian forces dropped 25 aerial bombs on their own villages and towns within a single day.
At the same time, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War note that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are achieving success in the Kharkiv region and in Donbas, while the occupiers are also advancing concurrently.
