Selma Blair, the star of "Cruel Intentions" and "Legally Blonde," was arrested following a confrontation aboard a Delta Air Lines flight. TMZ reports the incident occurred on October 11 during a flight to New York.
What happened aboard
According to a source, the actress allegedly attempted to open the door of a plane bound for New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. This reportedly sparked a confrontation with other crew members.
Blair allegedly struck one flight attendant and bit another. After the plane landed, medical personnel were called following reports of minor injuries, including a nosebleed and bite marks.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said two flight attendants had reported injuries. One of them was taken to a hospital.
An audio recording obtained by the outlet reportedly revealed that the passenger had been banging her head against a partition inside the plane. Law enforcement officers were waiting for her after the aircraft landed.

Details of Selma Blair's condition
The actress was subsequently arrested and taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Blair's representative said the actress had experienced a medical emergency that led to her behavior.
"Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition," the representative said.
It is not yet known what caused her condition to deteriorate. It has also not been reported whether authorities will file criminal charges against her. The FBI is investigating the circumstances.
This is not the first incident involving the actress during air travel. In 2016, she was carried off a plane on a stretcher after suffering an emotional breakdown on board.

She said that although things were still difficult at times, she was fully capable of working, was very happy to be back, and was doing well.
