Long-range drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) hit two defense industry factories in the Russian rear, Bazalt and Splav, last night, according to sources.

According to sources, Bazalt is the main defense enterprise of Russia, which manufactures weapons and ammunition for all branches of the Russian military. It is located in Krasnoarmeysk, Moscow region.

"Local residents counted at least 7 explosions there, after which a fire broke out," the sources reported.

The Splav factory was also attacked. It is the only enterprise in Russia that designs and develops multiple launch rocket systems and shells. It is located in Tula. After the drone strikes, a large fire and smoke were reported at the factory's premises.

In addition, the movement of Ukrainian drones forced the Russians to implement the Carpet Plan in the Moscow region, which involves closing airports. This created a transport collapse. Airlines canceled hundreds of flights.

"Unlike the Russians, who target residential high-rise buildings in peaceful cities, the SSU is precisely targeting military objects that help the enemy conduct armed aggression against Ukraine. Work to weaken Russia's military capabilities will continue," an informed source in the SSU stated.
