Satellite images show destruction at Sudzha gas metering station in Russia
Satellite images of the destruction at the gas metering station in Sudzha, Kursk region of Russia, appeared online. The photo shows a damaged administrative building and the site, reports Radio Liberty.
“As follows from the analysis of the photos, some of the damage appeared between August 9 and 10, and some - between August 10 and 11. The photo of August 11 shows that one of the administrative buildings of the station, as well as one of the sites where the measuring equipment is installed, was almost completely destroyed,” the statement said.
Gazprom claimed Monday morning that it continued pumping gas through the Sudzha gas station to Europe in the usual volume.
Fighting in Kursk region
On the morning of Tuesday, August 6, the information about the fighting in the Kursk region appeared online. The Russians as expected blamed Ukraine and began evacuating locals from several settlements.
The Russians reported the seizure of the gas metering station in Sudzha, which transports Russian gas through Ukraine to some European countries.
