President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held telephone conversations with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, according to the President's X account.

During the talks, Zelenskyy welcomed Scholz's decision to participate in the Peace Summit. In particular, the parties instructed the teams to work on engaging as many countries as possible in the upcoming meeting.

The President informed the Chancellor on the current situation on the battlefield and key areas. They also discussed the continuation of defense cooperation.

"I am grateful to Germany for its significant contribution to Ukraine's defense capabilities, particularly in strengthening our air defense. German assistance saves human lives every time Russia launches a terror attack," said Zelenskyy.

The President added that among the discussed issues were the preparation for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) and specific agreements.
