Russians target Ukrainian positions near Chasiv Yar and Toretsk

Russian forces have destroyed some positions of the Defense Forces in eastern Ukraine. These positions are located in the area of Chasovoy Yar and Toretsk in Donetsk region, according to the operational report of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Troops.
According to Ukrainian military sources, in the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked Defense Forces positions in Chasiv Yar and near Stupochky, while in the Toretsk direction, they assaulted fortifications near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.
"As a result of fire impact, some of our positions were destroyed," reported the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Troops.
Ukrainian defenders are taking measures to prevent further deterioration of the tactical situation in these areas.

Frontline situation
Russian forces continue their offensive actions along the frontlines. The most challenging areas remain the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Lyman directions. Recently, fighting has also intensified near Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. It was previously reported that Russian forces had destroyed Ukrainian positions near these cities.
According to Defense Forces representatives, Russia has concentrated 150,000 soldiers in the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Vremivka directions.
