Russian troops strike Sumy with guided aerial bomb

There was an explosion in Sumy. Russians attacked the city with a guided aerial bomb, according to Suspilne.
So far, the military leadership or other officials have not commented on the situation.
A large-scale air alert was announced in Ukraine, which lasted from 1:52 p.m. to 2:25 p.m.
Before that, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of Russian aviation activity in the airspace of Belgorod and Kursk regions and over the Sea of Azov.

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Russia attacked the infrastructure of Sumy with a guided aerial bomb. All necessary services are currently working at the scene, and the consequences are being clarified.
Situation in Sumy region
In recent months, Russia has intensified attacks on the border of the Sumy region. In particular, many settlements, including Velyka Pysarivka, Bilopillia, and the administrative center itself, are under Russian fire.
Recently, Russia attacked the center of Bilopillia in the Sumy district. As a result, a 51-year-old civilian was seriously wounded and died in hospital. Three other people were also wounded.
Meanwhile, the Center for Countering Disinformation warns that Russians are spreading fake news about the alleged preparation of an offensive on Kharkiv and Sumy.
