Situation in Kherson and region

In the fall of 2022, Ukrainian defenders launched a successful counteroffensive in the south of our country. The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to liberate the right-bank part of the Kherson region from the occupation forces. In particular, Kherson returned to Ukrainian control. This was one of the regional centers occupied by the Russians in February-March 2022.

Currently, Kherson and the region are under constant Russian shelling. The occupiers are attacking residential areas with heavy weapons and drones.

Thus, over the past day, the enemy fired 73 times at the Kherson region. One person was killed and another wounded as a result of the attacks.
