Russian occupiers struck Kharkiv on the night of May 5. As a result of the attack, five people were wounded, including a child, reports the State Emergency Service on Facebook.

During the night, Russians launched drone strikes on the residential areas of Kharkiv. The explosions caused damage to residential buildings and other outdoor structures.

According to rescuers, fires broke out at two locations. Outbuildings, a garage, and a car were ablaze. The fire spread across approximately 200 square meters.

According to the State Emergency Service, five people were injured in the attack, including a child.

Night attack

On the night of May 5th, Russian forces launched 24 kamikaze drones against Ukraine. Anti-aircraft defenses successfully downed 23 Shahed drones. The air defense system was active in the Kharkiv, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Explosions were reported in Kharkiv during the night. Additionally, there was damage in Dnipro and its surrounding areas as a result of the attack.

According to reports from the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged in Dnipro due to the debris from the downed drones. The city of Nikopol also came under attack.
