Russians shell towns in Donetsk region

Russian military shelled Toretsk and Siversk in Donetsk region. As a result of the enemy attack, two people were wounded, reports Olena Rudenko, spokesperson for the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, citing "Suspilne Donbas".
"In Toretsk, a 20-year-old woman was injured by the explosion of a shell, and in Siversk, a 71-year-old woman sustained physical injuries in her own apartment during the shelling. Both have been taken to the hospital where they are currently receiving medical assistance," clarified the spokesperson.
Rudenko noted that the prosecutor's office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into the incident.
The situation in Donetsk region
Russians open fire daily on cities and villages in Donetsk region. Settlements near the frontlines of the region, and even those located in relative rear areas, are constantly under attack.
Just recently, as a result of enemy strikes, one of the residents of Yelyzavetivka tragically lost her life. Her husband was also wounded. The Russian forces had targeted the private residence of the victims with artillery fire.
