Russian troops today, September 4, shelled the town of Druzhba in the Sumy region. A woman was injured as a result of the enemy attack, according to the Prosecutor General's Office.
Around 8:00 am, occupants from the territory of Russia conducted artillery shelling of the civilian infrastructure in the town of Druzhba, Shostka district.
A local resident was injured on her own property. Seven private houses were damaged.

Law enforcement agencies have initiated a pre-trial investigation into violations of laws and customs of war. The town of Druzhba is located about 10 kilometers from the border with Russia.
The situation in the Sumy region
After Ukrainian soldiers completely drove out Russian occupiers from the territory of the Sumy region last spring, the adversary shells the region from the territory of Russia almost daily. Most often, border areas of the region come under fire.
On September 2, Russian occupiers shelled the town of Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region with mortars. Energy workers were injured as a result of the strikes.
