Russian troops shell Nikopol: Building engulfed in flames, killed and injured reported
On the morning of Thursday, May 9, Russian troops shelled Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. A fire broke out, and there were killed and wounded, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
"There are two dead and as many injured in Nikopol. Russian artillery killed a 62-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman. Men aged 39 and 67 were wounded," he says.
Consequences of Russian attack
The Russians shelled the city in the morning.
A private house caught fire during the attack. Two other houses were damaged, and five apartment buildings were hit.
A shop, 2 trade pavilions, outbuildings, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
