Russians report striking at Patriot system. Ukrainian air force says it was just mock-up
The Russians reported strikes on Ukrainian aircraft at the airfield in Kryvyi Rih and Patriot systems near Yuzhne, but these were mock-ups of military equipment, according to Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the Ukrainian Air Force.
A few days ago, Russian propagandists talked about an alleged Iskander strike on an air base in Kryvyi Rih, and today they "reported" on an alleged strike on a Patriot air defense system near Yuzhne. To back up their claims, the enemy published a video from reconnaissance drones, but the recorded "achievements" turned out to be attacks on mock-ups.
"I am demonstrating two fresh enemy strikes with Iskanders-M, filmed from Russian reconnaissance UAVs. Dolhintseve airfield and the area of Yuzhne - the Air Force personnel have successfully carried out passive defense measures! Thanks to everyone who helps with high-quality models of aircraft and air defense systems," Oleshchuk wrote.
He added that the enemy now has fewer Iskanders, and the new mock-ups will be delivered.
Recently, the Marines' aerial reconnaissance aircraft discovered and neutralized Russian positions. They investigated the enemy's route of movement, and after gathering all the necessary information, they struck.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that the Russian Federation is stepping up its offensive in the Lyman and Pokrovsk directions.
