Russian occupiers complained about a supposed drone attack in Crimea. Russians claim to have "shot down" a total of 32 drones, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram.

Occupiers claimed that a supposed drone attack occurred in Crimea from 20:30 to 22:30 on December 15. According to Russians, 26 drones were allegedly shot down, and Ukraine was traditionally blamed.

Later the same day, Russians claimed to have shot down another 6 drones in Crimea.

It's worth noting that explosions were reported in various areas of Crimea on that day. The occupation authorities reported the functioning of air defense systems in Sevastopol and the Simferopol region. Additionally, reports mentioned air defense operations in the Genichesk area.

The situation in Crimea

Explosions are increasingly heard in Crimea, and pro-Ukrainian sentiments are being noted among the residents. Ukrainian forces have conducted numerous operations on the peninsula and in the Black Sea, targeting Russian bases, warehouses, and ships. Recently, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence carried out a special operation, showing President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's address in Crimea.

Furthermore, President Zelenskyy expressed the opinion that de-occupying Crimea would be easier than the Donbas. According to him, it is not only about liberating territories but also about the overall sentiments of the population.
