The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces successfully intercepted and downed all Shakhed kamikaze drones that Russian Forces attempted to use in an attack on Ukraine overnight on December 15, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

It is reported that the enemy launched one С-300 surface-to-air missile and 14 attack drones towards various regions of Ukraine.

"During the night, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, using a zenith-guided С-300 missile and 14 UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. All strike drones were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that the drones were launched from the area of ​​Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.

All enemy drones were shot down by mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the regions of Mykolaiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, and Poltava.
