Russians raise funds for war at occupied Zaporizhzhia school
Russian forces in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region have been raising funds for the war against Ukraine. The event took place at one of the seized schools under the guise of volunteering, according to the National Resistance Center of Ukraine (NRC).
According to the NRC, Russian volunteers effectively forced parents to donate money to support the Russian army. Meanwhile, younger children, under the supervision of teachers, traditionally drew postcards for the Russians, while older students wrote letters under dictation.
Responsibility for the propaganda campaign lies with the so-called education department of the local occupation administration and the volunteer unit of the combat fraternity.
"All of this is not only a means of brainwashing Ukrainian children, but also a demonstration of the alleged support of Russians by the locals," the NRC stated.
At the end of the publication, the NRC called on people to ignore the enemy's initiatives and report any collaborators.
Recently, the NRC reported that Russians plan to provide guards with weapons in schools in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This will take place starting January 1, 2025. According to Russian standards, security personnel in educational institutions will be required to carry weapons and wear bulletproof vests.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russia is transporting teachers from the occupied Kherson region to Moscow, where they are being trained to identify pro-Ukrainian children.
