Russians launched 44 Shahed drones at Ukraine overnight
On the night of September 13, Russia fired 44 Shahed kamikaze drones onto Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down 32 of them according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the Russians launched their drones from three directions: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Cape Chauda, and Kursk. In total, 44 drones were launched.
The main direction was the southern districts of the Odesa region, namely the port infrastructure.
The night attack was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups.
As a result of combat operations, 32 Shahed-136/131 drones were destroyed.

Last night, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine once again. Explosions were heard not only in the Odesa region, but also in the Sumy region, with local authorities reporting three kamikaze drones having been destroyed in the area.
However, the Russians directed the main attack on Odesa region, namely the Izmail district. The attack damaged port and other civilian infrastructure, with six people being injured as a result.
