Russians launch mass rocket attacks on Avdiivka: One fatality and injuries reported
Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Avdiivka, Donetsk region, on January 3. One person was killed and another was wounded, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
"Today around 11 am Russians fired four missiles at the city and hit residential buildings. One person was killed and one wounded as a result of rocket attacks on Avdiivka," he says.
Situation in the area of Avdiivka
Russian troops are constantly shelling Avdiivka, trying to capture the city. Thus, on January 1, the occupiers attacked Avdiivka in the Donetsk region with artillery. A woman was killed in the attack.
According to Commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the Russian occupiers have somewhat reduced the number of infantry attacks in the Tavria direction. However, they have been actively conducting air strikes and shelling our positions with artillery for the second day. The enemy is most active near Avdiivka and in the Maryinka direction.
