Russians launch ballistic missiles and 10 drones at Kyiv overnight
Russians launched ballistic missiles and drones at Kyiv on the night of August 11. They did not reach their targets, and there were no hits in the capital, reports the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.
It is noted that this is the second attack on the capital since the beginning of August. Initially, the occupiers launched ballistic missiles towards Kyiv. The Kyiv City Military Administration suggests these could have been Iskander-M missiles or North Korean KN-23s.
The missiles did not reach Kyiv, with the strike impacting the suburbs instead.
"At that time, it was already known that several dozen Shahed-type attack drones had been launched towards Ukraine. About a dozen of them, after complex maneuvers, attempted to attack Kyiv. However, all enemy drones were intercepted by air defense forces in the airspace over the Ukrainian capital," the report stated.
According to the latest information, there were no recorded damages in Kyiv, and there are no reports of casualties.
