Russians hit Donetsk region today: two children killed
Today Russian forces attacked Druzhba village in the Donetsk region, resulting in the deaths of two innocent children, according to Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Russian forces bombarded the settlement with artillery around 3 pm. One of the projectiles struck the courtyard where the children were, resulting in the fatalities of a 10-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl.
"It was a brother and sister. They sustained injuries that were incompatible with life," reported Kyrylenko.

Additionally, an elderly woman was injured during the same shelling incident and was taken to the hospital.

The situation in the region remains highly volatile, with active combat ongoing in the areas of Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Volnovakha. Russian occupiers continue to target civilian settlements with heavy weaponry, resulting in a significant loss of civilian lives. According to preliminary estimates, at least 1,563 civilians have lost their lives, and over 3,700 others have been injured since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in the Donetsk region.
Just today, it was reported that Russians launched attacks on several fronts in the region, leading to the deaths of two civilians and injuries to two others.
