Russians have resources for advancement in north of Ukraine, reports
The Russian grouping of troops concentrated in the north of Ukraine has the resources to be active in this area of the front, says Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
"As of now, the Russian military grouping Sever does not have the resources to attack Kharkiv. However, it has the resources to be active on the northern border," he says.
At the same time, according to him, the Russians have resources for tactical actions in the Kupiansk direction of the Kharkiv region.
Situation at frontline
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 134 combat engagements were recorded on the frontline in Ukraine over the last day. In particular, Ukrainian Defense forces repelled more than a third of the attacks in the Avdiivka sector.
In addition, the Institute of War Studies, commenting on the success of Ukrainian forces at the front, noted that the Armed Forces have recently improved their tactical positions in the area of Serebrianske forestry.
In turn, the Russian invaders advanced north of Ocheretyne (northwest of Avdiivka) and south of Pervomaiske (southwest of Avdiivka).
