Russians launched attacks on Kherson during the night of July 19 and later targeted the Zhytomyr region in Ukraine using kamikaze drones, resulting in significant damages and casualties.

In Kherson, around 2:00 a.m., a strike was reported in the Shumensky district of the city. The attacks caused a fire in a cultural center and damaged a two-story building. Thanks to the efforts of the State Emergency Service, an 89-year-old woman trapped under the debris of her home was rescued. Medical assistance was provided on-site, her condition is reported to be stable.

In the Zhytomyr region, the enemy launched kamikaze drone attacks during the early hours of the morning. According to Vitalii Bunechko, the head of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, the attack resulted in an infrastructure object being hit and some private households damaged. Emergency services are currently assessing the situation on the scene, but there is no information about casualties yet.

On July 19, Russia initiated another massive attack on Ukraine, using a variety of missiles, including Kalibr, Oniks, X-22, X-59, and kamikaze drones. A total of 31 missiles and 32 drones were launched, and the explosions were heard in cities of Odesa, Kropyvnytskyi, and Kyiv. Ukrainian air defense systems were activated, managing to intercept and destroy 14 missiles and 23 UAVs.
