Russian troops strike Kharkiv, rescuers show aftermath of the attack

Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with strike drones at night, causing several fires in the city. Rescuers showed photos of the aftermath of the enemy strike.
"At night, the enemy attacked Kharkiv with strike drones. In the Nemyshlшanskyi district, there was destruction and a fire on the territory of a civilian enterprise. There were no casualties or injuries," the rescuers said.
It is reported that fire departments, medics, and pyrotechnics from the State Emergency Service were involved in dealing with the aftermath.
10,000 consumers remain without power
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, more than 10,000 consumers in the Nemyshlianskyi and Industrial districts of Kharkiv remained without power on the morning of October 7 after a massive Russian drone attack.
Russian strikes on Kharkiv and the surrounding area
Late yesterday evening, October 6, explosions were heard in Kharkiv. According to the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, about two dozen explosions were heard during the 20-minute drone attack.
Also, on the night of October 6, Russian drones launched a massive attack on one of the districts of Kharkiv, leaving more than 20,000 residents without electricity. According to the authorities, approximately 15 strikes hit the regional center, with the enemy targeting energy facilities.
RBC-Ukraine previously reported on an attack by the Russian army on a vehicle carrying officials from the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. The incident occurred on the morning of October 6 in Borova, Kharkiv region. The head of the community, Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, and the secretary of the village council were injured as a result of the enemy attack.
