Russian terrorist Babay eliminated in Zaporizhzhia sector
Ukrainian military forces have eliminated the militant Alexander Mozhaev, known by the nickname Babay, on the Zaporizhzhia front. He had been involved in hostilities against Ukraine since 2014, according to the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko.
Reports about the liquidation of the terrorists started appearing from Russian so-called war correspondents on the evening of October 18. The militant was likely killed in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Details about Mozhaev
Mozhaev had been part of the Cossack Wolf Hundred formation since the 1990s. Russians first mentioned him during the occupation of Crimea and parts of Donbas in 2014. The Russians called him Cossack Babay and a Donetsk militiaman.
Babay took part in combat actions, including in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. Later, the terrorists fled to Russia. Mozhaev was sentenced to 5 years for marijuana possession. Additionally, a case was initiated against him in the occupied part of the Luhansk region on suspicion of rape and murder.

Losses of Russians in the war against Ukraine
The Russian Ministry of Defense conceals its losses in the war against Ukraine. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Shoigu significantly understated the number of casualties, and they ultimately started suppressing this issue.
Russian opposition media compiled a list of over 30,000 Russian military personnel who died in Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over 290,000 occupiers have been eliminated in Ukraine. In the last day alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed 630 invaders.
