Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 19: helicopter, aircraft, 630 troops
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Thursday, October 19, totaled 630 occupiers, with the overall casualties of the Russian army since the invasion's outset reaching 290,680 military personnel. In addition, Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian aircraft and a helicopter, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to October 19, 2023 are estimated as follows:

Frontline situation
Ukrainian military forces have been successfully downing Russian aircraft and helicopters for the second consecutive day. Yesterday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to down one aircraft and six helicopters, both incidents occurring on the Tavriyske front.
As of the end of June, Ukrainian defense forces had destroyed 120-130 Russian tank battalions since the beginning of the war. Notably, over a fifth of known losses of Russian aircraft and helicopters since the start of the conflict were not caused by actions from Ukraine.
