Russians heavily attacked Odesa with drones on the evening of March 7. Numerous fires and damages were reported in the city, according to the State Emergency Service and Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov.

"As a result of the massive drone attack, fires broke out in Odesa. A hangar with agricultural machinery, an auto repair shop, a car dealership, solar panels stacked in an open area, and a four-story industrial building were burning," the emergency services report.

Additionally, critical infrastructure was damaged. Fortunately, according to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries.

"Fires were extinguished by emergency services, the National Guard, municipal authorities' units, and volunteers," the statement says.

Meanwhile, the city's mayor, Gennadiy Trukhanov, also posted about the attack. He confirmed that the enemy's targets remain unchanged: energy and civilian infrastructure. Specifically, as a result of the attack, industrial and service sector facilities, as well as residential buildings, were damaged.

"The municipal roads company is already clearing the roadways so public transport can resume service in the morning. Special equipment will also be dispatched in the morning to address the aftermath. Housing and utilities workers will be involved. If necessary, we will set up an operational headquarters where documents can be submitted for government compensation and assistance from the city budget," Trukhanov informed.
