Russian strike on Ukrainian military training ground in Dnipropetrovsk region: Details

The State Bureau of Investigation has opened a criminal case over the death and injury of Ukrainian soldiers due to the Russian missile strike on a military training ground in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine reports.
"The Bureau expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the fallen and wounded defenders, sharing their pain in this difficult time," the statement said.
According to the Ukrainian government agency, the investigation aims to establish all circumstances of the tragedy and bring those responsible to justice. Currently, a special joint group of law enforcement officers is working at the scene, conducting investigative actions.
The State Bureau of Investigation also extended its sincere condolences to the families of the killed and wounded servicemen, emphasizing the need for a thorough and impartial investigation.
Strike on training ground in Dnipropetrovsk region
Earlier, media reported about an enemy attack on the Novomoskovsk training ground in the Samarskyi district of Dnipropetrovsk region during a formation of the 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In particular, Russia’s Ministry of Defense claimed that the strike was carried out with an Iskander-M tactical missile system.
Later, Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi stated that a thorough verification and establishment of all circumstances of the incident is currently underway. In addition, the Ukrainian Ground Forces confirmed that on March 1, one of their units became the target of an enemy missile strike
Unfortunately, the attack resulted in casualties and injuries, though their exact number has not been disclosed.
