Russian strike on Kharkiv: Aftermath revealed
An explosion occurred in Kharkiv during a Russian air attack overnight on March 14. The region is currently on high alert, according to the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
The explosion in the city was heard at 05:10 a.m.
"There was an explosion in Kharkiv," the mayor wrote on his Telegram channel.
The head of the regional military administration added that Russian invaders "are striking Kharkiv."
The official urged local residents to seek shelter.
Prior to this, monitoring groups reported that occupiers launched ballistic missiles to target Kharkiv from the Russian city of Belgorod.
In the Air Force command, there were reports of numerous threats of missile strikes in various regions.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that the Russians struck the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv with an S-300 missile.
"At the moment, there are no casualties. There is damage to non-residential civilian premises. Inspection of the site by relevant services is ongoing," he wrote.

As the mayor later recounted, the second strike this morning, due to the Russian attack, occurred in the forest belt near non-residential premises in Kharkiv.
"Preliminarily - S-300. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. Some minor damage to several buildings," Terekhov noted.
Air attack on the night of March 14
It was previously reported that Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones, and an air alarm was declared in many regions this night.
In Kharkiv, for example, the strike of a Shahed drone was recorded in the city center in the area of private houses; there were no reports of possible casualties.
